An innovator in the virtual goods market, viximo needed a logo revamp. Early on in the process the decision was made to focus on a type treatment, and I chose to create the type from scratch. I’m fairly happy with the final logo, but I like the original direction quite a bit more. Below is the original type treatment, with the wireframe that shows the construction.

Unfortunately, as the process moved long, some of the ‘uniqueness’ was removed from the type. The final logo is actually the third round. The second round is below. It keeps some of that connected ‘gift’ idea, but still loses something.

Done at Alphabet Arm.

Very talented work Ira, didn’t recognize your work till I looked at this and the two i’s x together like people meeting is pretty conceptual. But I have to say readability on the 3rd round came out better. I did dig the originality of the type though.

Thanks Joe. I appreciate it. The subtle connection between the two i’s was something that I was glad made it to the final logo.
